9 DAY Tour experience in Morocco

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CASABLANCA

Arrive at Casablanca airport and transfer to the hotel or riad. Free time and overnight stay at the hotel before starting your tour experience in Morocco.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA – RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN

You will start your tour experience in Morocco by having a traditional breakfast. The first stop is the largest mosque in Africa, the Hassan II Mosque, whose square green tile minaret, 200 meters high, is the second largest in the Islamic world after Mecca in Saudi Arabia. It was designed by French architect Michel Pinceau, who also designed the Moroccan pavilion at the World Expo in Seville. We then drive to Rabat, the capital, visiting the Mausoleum of Hassan II and the Medina Lodaya of the old city, after lunch, we leave Rabat for Chefchaouen. Overnight in riad with breakfast.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN – FEZ

Breakfast in riad and continue your experience tour in Morocco to Fez, the first of the imperial cities, whose origins date back to the 8th century. It is also one of the first sacred cities for Muslims in Morocco and boasts one of the oldest universities in the world. We arrive in Fez, transfer our luggage to the hotel, and leave in the afternoon to explore Fez with our local guide and stay overnight in a riad with breakfast.

DAY 4: FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU – ERRACHIDIA – DESERT

On the fourth day of our tour experience in Morocco, we leave Fez and head towards the Middle Atlas to visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. The next village is Azrou “the rock”, a Berber village known for its crafts, carpets, and woodcarvings before we arrive in Midelt. We follow the road through Tizi Talgemt or Camel Pass at an altitude of 1,907 meters. The terrain is spectacular, the mountains are completely bare and covered in a purple mantle. Arrive in Errachidia and start crossing the Tafilalet massif to the palm grove of Erfoud. Towards the desert of Merzouga, We arrive at the desert to begin an incredible adventure. We start with an hour-long camel caravan that will take us to the bivouac. We’ll stop in the middle of the road to admire the sunset over the dunes and stretch our legs a bit before continuing on to the bivouac, where we’ll have another welcome tea before dinner and the chance to climb the big dune or smaller dunes next to the bivouac to see the shooting stars and make wishes. Overnight in Haimas in the heart of the desert (camp) with dinner and a typical Berber breakfast.

DAY 5 : MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TODRA GORGE – DADES GORGE

We wake up earlier to see the panoramic sunrise. We return by camel or 4×4 to the meeting point with our minibus to continue our journey to Rissani, visit the market, which is the most important market in the south, where all desert nomads do their shopping, and then drive to Erfoud, where we visit a fossil marble factory and continue to the palm groves of Tourug and Tinjdade. We arrive at one of the sights of the south: the Todra Gorge. The Todra River has formed a gorge with vertical walls of enormous size and beauty, a rock climber’s paradise, and a unique place. Lunch on-site and a half-hour walk to admire the gorge at leisure. In the afternoon we will continue to the Dades valley via Dades Bumalen and reach Dades valley where we will stay in a hotel with dinner and breakfast. DAY 6: DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – HIGH ATLAS – MARRAKECH

On the sixth day of your tour experience in Morocco and after breakfast at the hotel, start the drive to Ouarzazate via Bumalne Dades, the Valley of the Roses, and Skoura. On the way, you will enjoy the views of the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, the Valley of the Roses, and the Skoura Oasis. From here, we will proceed to the village of Ait Ben Haddou where we will have lunch and then tour the exotic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Later, crossing the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260m), you will have the opportunity to take pictures and enjoy the scenery of the High Atlas Mountains during a visit to the ARGAN oil cooperative where we will learn about the production process and the countless benefits of oil for the human body. In the afternoon we arrive in Marrakech and transfer to the riad, where we spend the night with breakfast.

DAY 7: VISIT MARRAKECH

After breakfast, visit Marrakech. In the morning visit the Koutoubia and the Bahia Palace. Visit the souks, the medina, and the Jemaa el Fna Square. To enjoy a drive and stroll through the streets of the medina and souks, join a walking tour with a local guide. Afternoon and overnight at leisure in the riad. Your tour experience in Morocco is incomplete without visiting Marrakech, the first tourism city in the country.

DAY 8: FREE DAY IN MARRAKECH AND OVERNIGHT IN RIAD WITH BREAKFAST.

DAY 9: TRANSFER TO CASABLANCA AIRPORT
